Blog spam intercepted; easing legit comments

I will be out of town for a convention (for work) later this month, so I though I had better address the question of blog comments and the dreaded blog spam.

I installed the Akismet anti-spam plugin about a week ago, and have been very happy with it. WordPress bloggers, do try it. It captured 95-98% of the blog spam so I’m willing to scape off the few that get through to allow my real, live human commenters to get through faster.
