DC blog meetup?

Looking at UUpdates.net, I see more and more references to Washington, D.C.

Is it time for a UU blogmeet?

  1. Anybody in the D.C. area want to get together for a small group meeting for Universalist fellowship, prayer, and Bible study? I’m going to be organizing such a meeting sometime in the next few weeks, and I’m looking for more participants to join us (only 3 or 4 people involved so far).

    What’s a “blog meetup”?

  2. Would you be open to a secret blogger joining you? I’m one of the ministers at Cedar Lane in Bethesda. Because I blog candidly about my life and the church (within guidelines, of course) and because there is a disgruntled UU trying to out minister bloggers (long story – one of my colleagues got fired as a result,) I password protect my blog and only send it to, like, 10 of my trusted friends.

So I’m not sure if I qualify for the blogging meetup, considering that very few people can read it. But I would like to meet and chat with you. Lemme know your thoughts. Thanks!
