– I’ve had a growing discomfort with Sinkford’s use of the UUA website as a vehicle for self promotion. But this over-exposure began early in his presidency, when a large number of front-page posting began to be about him.
I would expect this kind of exposure on a denominational web-site where the denomination is episcopal in polity. So why, in a congregationaly governed denomination, do we have a president who is exposed on the UUA website as if he were minister to a national congregation? Maybe I’m quibbling over small details, but I thought we were still the Unitarian Universalist Association of CongregationS (the big-S is to emphasize plural congregations).
