Χριστος Aνεστη!

Past are the cross, the  scourge, the thorn,
The scoffing tongue, the gibe, the scorn,
And brightly breaks the Easter morn!
Alleluia!

  1. Does that say Christos Anesti?

If so, then as my own grandma would say (from the other side of the Orthodox family), “Christos Voskrese!” (Which I always thought meant, “Christ was crazy!”)

    He is risen indeed!
