Did anyone else see the Unitarian reference in the front-page story about heresies this week at AnglicansOnline.org? Fausto?

  1. Did not see it before, but I’m interested. I assume the test would reveal me to be some combination of socinian (or unitarian), pelagian and monist — which is probably what most Unitarians were in the mid to late 19th cenutry.

As a UU, I don’t mind acknowledging where I depart from (and where I can still agree with) Christian orthodoxy. What bugs me, though, is when conservative Protestants accuse others lke me of being heretics. Almost always, the folks doing the accusing are some combination of docetist (or monophysite) and manichaean themselves, but they usually aren’t aware of it and don’t see the hypocrisy in their pointed fingers.
