Best-of writing, worst-of spam

I’ve hit one milestone and am approaching another: the Akismet spam filter today has caught its 20,000th piece of spam and I’m approaching 2,000 posts. (This is 1,997.)

Since I’m taking some time to work on other projects, I’ll spend the next few days and refer back to some of the writing for which I’m particularly proud, but which recent new readers would never have seen. I’ll class these by category so (I hope) they will be more useful for future readers, too.

  1. In a funny way, my spam connects me to my brother, who works in pharmaceutical advertising. As I delete dozens of spam comments regarding the merits of this or that drug and providing a link to their sites, I remember that he’s making six figures to propogate this stuff and I send him a kiss.
