Best religious group site?

Well, the agita about the new UCC.org continues — thanks for the link! — at the UCC Forums. I don’t see this ending well, but I’ll keep my opinions on the matter here.  I’ve made it plain that I’m not happy with UUA.org (which looks like one of the Eight Wonders of the Modern World by contrast to UCC.org) or Unitarian.org.uk. CUC.ca and NSPresbyterian.org are useful but a bit dull. PB is mystified by United-church.ca (though I really like it.)

Time for some inspiration.

What’s your favorite national or international religious ministry or service arm website? (Denominationalism is hardly a virtue and doesn’t translate outside of Protestantism well, so think broadly about the kinds of sites that can inspire.)

It needn’t be a large movement, fellowship or religion: it just needs to have a web presence that inspires you. Give us a URL, the size of the group if you know it and why you like it.

  1. If I were going to nominate a denominational site, I would nominate the one for the General Convention of Swedenborgian Churches at http://www.swedenborg.org . I’m a bit of a ludite, and my tastes are plain. The site is not flashy or cool, but has a good asthetic that links well with their theology. Usefull information (about their heritage and church locations) is easy for me to find.
