Well, since the misunderstanding that suggested that I was forwarding an Israeli divestment proposal, I went over and looked at the 2005 General Assembly page. (By the way, in my Day Job, I do a fair bit of exhibiting, and the rates for space are extraordinarily low. Your group, if you have one, should take full advantage. Also, Freeman, the exhibiting contractor, is probably the best in the business.)
The problem is that there’s almost no business at GA this year of any controversy, apart from CSW matters, and there’s already been a lot of ire over how Unitarian Universalists get caught up with flitting flirtation in social issues.

All quite admirable, but so futile. It astounds me how much work and sweat goes into all of this, and it’s fair to say that maybe 100 people really really care about it on any substantive level. 100 tops.
