Church branding and embarassment

The editors of this week’s Anglicans Online “cover article” speak to the issue of branding and the possible fear that one part of a religious fellowship might feel inhibited and embarassed by the reputation of another part of the religious fellowship. Even though policing the franchise isn’t an internal part of being a part of said fellowship.

I’ll confess this thought has crossed my mind with reference both approaches to the Christian question within the Unitarian Universalist Association.
