Creative Commons: Wanna Work Together?

This three minute film is an introduction to Creative Commons liberal (“some rights reserved”) licenses. Can we talk about their uses for worship elements? And talk about the theft of intellectual property by congregations?

  1. I love this idea. Thanks for sharing it. I have a curriculum that I wrote that I have sold hard copy and that the UUA sells now, but that I have been wanting to get out into the world far beyond my own time…this may be the way.

  2. I guess we can talk about that, there was a case in the news recently. Better still, we could talk about sermons under CC license explicitly for translation into other languages. This is already happening for Spanish in a few pages and usually with the oral consent of the minister, but it would be good to make it a established practice with sermons available on the Web.
