  1. I visited St David’s a few years ago on a geology fieldtrip to Pembrokeshire. I think its the smallest city in the UK, Just a village really. I remember that there was a ‘City Hall’ which sounded strange and quite American to me. Manchester, being a city probably 100 times bigger than St David’s, still has a Town Hall.

  2. When I was a child my father took me to a Saint David’s day dinner at a Congregational Church we attended in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is a nice memory from long ago.
