Desktop update: Google Reader

Apart from adding bits and pieces, my one big change in my computer use is to drop my free-standing news reader (Liferea, for Linux) and use Google Reader instead. It can handle by 180 feeds much quicker than Liferea and using Google Reader means I don’t have to manage a different news reader at home and at work.

This video — the one I linked at the first flannelgraph posting — was what prompted me to try the online service. (After the jump.)
