If you missed the General Assembly issue of The Beacon

So much happened to General Assembly this year that I forgot to mention the new issue of satirical magazine, The Beacon, appeared. Whatever you do, do not repeat to the activities printed therein at home.

  1. I actually think the portraits should be modeled after the portraits at Hogwarts. I think they should be spaced out in such a way that they would provide assistance for a self guided or guided tour. Now sans magic abilities I would propose this be done using short animated videos and ab AR app like Aurasma so you would view the portrait with a mobile device and it would recognize the image and trigger a video to play within the bounds of the painting. The effect would look something like this . . .http://youtu.be/ncFAxN9Gu9g
