Last minute decoration

I went to Wikipedia earlier to link to a sibling project, the Wikimedia Commons. This less-well-known project has visual and audio files with as open a license as the better-known Wikipedia texts.

If you haven’t decorated yet, I guess you could put a nice wallpaper on your computer monitor.

Santa on radar

I like Wikimedia Commons because you can get images for all sorts of things, including Christmas. They have trees, Santa Clauses, images of celebration, and world-regional distinctives. You can download an audio Christmas greeting in a number of languages, including Farsi and Armenian. I rather like this old magazine cover marking Santa’s customary flyover on radar.

For these Christmas resources, click here.

These resources could be useful for church newsletters, orders of service, websites, religious education handouts, and more.

With 300,000 files, there’s more than just for Christmas.
