Murrain takes on Ubuntu Linux

Michelle Murrain — one of my favorite bloggers — has cast her lot (and a new laptop) with a fresh installation of Kubuntu, a leading variant of the Ubuntu Linux operating system I love so much.

She’ll be blogging about her experience, warts and all. In my own experience, with a DSL connection, a different wireless card and using the main Ubuntu distribution (edition) I had no problem with my wifi — once I learned the trick on a Ubuntu support forum: sudo apt-get install bcm43xx-fwcutter

I look forward to future installments, in her technology blog, Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology.
