NACCC hymnal update

The National Association of Congregational Christian Churches — which has official “fraternal relations” with the Council of Christian Churches in the Unitarian Universalist Association; I know it is a preferred exit for some Unitarian Universalist Christians — has made progress on its new hymnal, due for publication next year.

  1. Thanks for this notice. As an active hymnal collector and hymnal compiler, I am always on the lookout for good ones to add to my collection, and it’s rare indeed that one from outside my particular circles comes to my attention prior to its publication date. Apparently conceived as an update of the Pilgrim Hymnal, the selection is somewhat more open than that would lead me to expect particularly on the gospel hymn end of things. I look forward to seeing it in print. Or CD. ;-)
