Here’s a video of a nifty video algorithm. Watch the video towards the end and you can see how easy it could be to remove figures from an image.
I was bothered as I watched the tricks the technology can do because I envisioned myself looking at a resized or rescaled picture of something familiar (some scene in nature that I love, for example, or a picture of friends) and not recognizing it or not being able to identify an occasion because elements have been rescaled or removed. It would be so easy to be dishonest with this technology, it seems to me, even if dishonesty were not the object of the resizing/rescaling.
