Overcoming credit

A little good news — after many, many months of big credit card payments, I am now making payments that are greater than the once customary 5% per month. At this rate, I will pay my poor-pastorate debt in 18 more months.

It can be done. Just a little encouragement.

  1. Good for you, Scott, hope you’re able to keep on track. I know so many people with bad credit card debt, it’s quite a plague. I know it’ll be a relief to get back from out under it.

  2. Yay! I had $10,000 in cc debt about 7 years ago. I scrimped and saved and lived rather simply on a meager salary and paid it off in a year and half. It was hard, but taught me a valuable lesson in financial restraint. The day I was done with it all was such a relief.
