A quick note from New York. Revival turnout was smaller than I
expected — more about that when I get home — but the keynoter I
heard — the Rev. Dr. Gary Dorrien, of Union Theological Seminary has
made up my reading list for the next year.

You might like to also read “The New Evangelists: Yale Divinity School and the future of Protestantism” in the _Yale Alumni Magazine_ by Warren Goldstein. It has anecdotes, which would be of interest to many Mainline ministers. For example there is a story about Rev. William Sloane Coffin debating Rev. Jerry Falwell on “Donahue.” Many comments by UCC ministers.
