UK Unitarian and Free Christians meet

April 13. Stephen Lingwood has expanded coverage to the first two days and added photographs.

I was going to blog about church convention exhibiting tips on Easter Monday — don’t worry; it’s coming — because a couple hundred years ago the English General Baptists — later absorbed by the Unitarians — would have had their annual meeting on Easter Monday.

And it turns out the ministers of the General Assembly Unitarian and Free Christian Churches met Monday, and the full GA started Tuesday. Stephen Lingwood (Reignite) picks up the coverage on day two. Thanks to him.

Funny — he seems to be the only one blogging about it and there’s hardly a reference to the meeting in Hertfordshire (north of Greater London) at www.unitarian.org.uk.

  1. A first attender at GA made exactly the same point to me. But the website is being relaunched very soon. I’d be interested to hear your judgment on it when it is, Scott.

  2. I think it was somewhere between 280 and 300 people.

There’s pretty much nothing online. I don’t think its seen as a primary means of communication yet. But that could well change in the next year.
