Upgrading, gaffes

Well, I wanted to clean up the ol’ blog and upgrade to WordPress 1.5. It started out much harder than I thought, and then got very easy.

So we’ll have to live with this default template for a while and then I’ll roll out the new BITB theme.

Later. Philo is asking in the comments about the acronym tag.

You can read more about how to do it here.

  1. A WordPress question for you: I’m especially intrigued by the little dotted underline explanation thingamajigs and want to know about that technology. Do you know much about how that works and how it might be implemented in other settings?

  2. I didn’t know you switched to WordPress. I thought you were running MT. I’ve found one or two bugs in WordPress 1.5, but also found solutions in the support forums. For what it’s worth, I’d recommend WordPress to just about anyone, particularly the new version. It’s worth it for the new themeing system and the spam control alone.
